What's up? I'm Alex! So I guess I'll tell you a little bit about myself. I grew up in South Jersey (10 minutes from Philly) and went to school a few minutes from Lexington, Kentucky. Growing up I always wanted to be on the air. What's better than talking about and listening to music for a living? Sounds like a pretty good job to me. I'm here to to provide some good music for your ears and keep you informed on all the latest things happening around here. Sound good?

I looked at going to this school! Have some friends that went there. Awesome college.
Every year, students at Taylor go to the basketball game the Friday before finals and do not say a word before the 10th point is scored. Once that happens, they break out into cheers then start singing 'Silent Night'. You gotta watch this cool video.

This is SOOOOOOO AWESOME!!!!! I love it so much!!! I totally wish I was at that game!! Watch a dancer for the Chicago Bulls (Luvabull) get proposed to by her boyfriend in the middle of a dance!!!
I was JUST talking about this last night.
I was at the Justin Timberlake concert with my friend when a man walked up to us to say 'Hey ladies, I just want you two to know that you are stunning." and walked away.
When he left, I said, 'That's awkward.' My friend, who is the sweetest, said 'He was just paying a compliment. He probably had to work up the courage.'
I guess she was right.
But over the years, as women, we are subject to so many demining remarks and cat calls on the street. Usually I return those with a rude hand gesture and a '**** you!' (to which my friends say 'Alex, your Jersey is showing.).
I can tell if a man is being sweet and sincere or being a pig.
If you want to know what I react so harshly, watch the video below. She explains it PERFECTLY.
Ladies, do you agree? Men, how do you feel about this?
She's stuntin like her parents!

Well ba-freaking-humbug! This has to be the Scroogiest and Grinchiest thing I have ever heard of!
An elementary school in Frisco, Texas has banned anything that has to do with Christmas or any religious holiday. Children aren't allowed to wear red and green and there will be no Christmas trees. Instead, there will be a 'winter party'.
Listen, I guess I can understand no nativities... but no Christmas trees? That literally has nothing to do with religion.
They also cannot wish anyone a 'Merry Christmas' or 'Happy Hanukkah'.
I just rolled my eyes so much they almost went into the back of my head.
What do you think of this? Too much?

This is one of the most touching Christmas commercials I have ever seen. Watch and share! Sometimes we should be reminded as to what is important this holiday season!
