TUESDAY ON THE BOBBY BONES SHOW
Bobby started the morning by calling out Ray for having a bad attitude after a long Monday night of partying. He and the rest of the crew spent the evening at the Jake Owen block party, where Bobby helped introduce the show and received some unexpected surprises. One of these surprises was a skull bracelet, an accessory Bobby said he wasn’t cool enough to wear, and another was a fan in the crowd hoisting a sign with his name on it! Bobby couldn’t believe the sign, but Amy assured him it was probably for “another Bobby”.
Bobby also ragged on Amy for trying to pry into some of his private affairs during the show yesterday. While he claims “nothing is off limits”, he was perturbed that Amy kept pushing him to tell a story that he refused to tell. Amy claimed the story was relevant to the segment, and not that private! To hear both sides of the entire argument, check out the podcast!
A member of a large group of men celebrating a birthday in the Philippines, felt inclined to test out his new firearm by letting off a couple of rounds into the air. After firing the shots, the man proceeded to tuck the gun into his waistband. Unfortunately, the shooting didn’t stop there, as the man soon found himself with a bullet in his groin!

While Lunch was quick to come to the aid of his friend, Ray didn’t even lift a finger replying to Amy’s request for assistance with a text that reads, “Unless that dog crawls up into my bed I won’t be seeing it.” Ray defended his lack of action, claiming he doesn’t like dogs. Bobby couldn’t believe Ray isn’t a dog lover and reminded him that it wasn’t about the dog but helping out his friend! Turns out, the dog was never actually lost, but had inadvertently locked itself in an upstairs closet.

Jake Owen in Studio
Jake stopped by the studio to talk about his block party concert last night! The whole BBS crew was in attendance, and Bobby even introduced Jake before he played. Jake put on an incredible show, but Bobby was curious how he managed it with and injured hand. Turns out, Jake had the top of his finger chopped off before the show yesterday. Bobby said he wanted to take this opportunity to try and take Jake in a round of golf, but Jake assured Bobby he was going to keep of the green for a while. To hear the entire interview, check out the podcast below!
Bobby revealed to Jake that Amy didn’t vote for him with her CMA vote. Bobby said he only did it because he feels everyone should be voting for Jake, but Amy feels like Bobby threw her under the bus. Did Bobby cross the line when he told Amy’s secret?

A listener dropped by the studio to perform a BBS parody she wrote of Thomas Rhett’s “It Goes Like This”. The song was pretty funny (and her voice was pretty good too)! The gang debated the pros and cons of school uniforms this morning, with Bobby advocating the implementation of a uniform dress code. He said his stance derives from his position in life when he was kid, when he wasn’t able to wear the clothes the cool kids wear. In his view, the implementing uniforms would eliminate the possibility of kids feeling embarrassed by the clothes they wear. The rest of the show was in agreement with Bobby’s position; however they did acknowledge the counterarguments.
Thanks for listening, and be sure to tune in tomorrow for Brett Eldredge on the BBS!
