For fifteen minutes yesterday it appears that United Airlines was listing flights for $0 plus tax! Hundreds of customers got flights for $5-10. It is unclear as to whether or not the airline will honor the bookings.
Eric Paslay In-Studio Recap
Eric Paslay who is responsible for writing hits like “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” and “Angel Eyes” stopped by the studio and sang us a few covers. He took on the likes of “On The Road Again” by: Willie Nelson, “Tears In Heaven” by: Eric Clapton, and U2’s “With Or Without You”! Nicole Kidman was knocked over by a photographer riding a bicycle on a New York City sidewalk! It appears as though Kidman is looking to press charges on the photographer because she was actually injured in the accident.
US health professionals as well as Michelle Obama has in the past encouraged people to drink more and more water but reports are saying you should just drink when you’re thirsty rather than drinking a specific amount of glasses of water per day.
California has just announced that it is going to make the minimum wage $10 an hour making it the highest minimum wage in the nation.
The New Jersey boardwalk, which is still recovering from the damage done by hurricane Sandy has now been damaged by a fire where over 30 businesses have now been taken out. The fire is believed to have started in Khor’s Custard Shop. They just can’t seem to catch a break!
Nashville Native Auditions for X-Factor
Rachel Potter is a 29-year-old singer who is familiar with the music industry here in Nashville and when she went on the show X-Factor for her audition the judges were puzzled as to why a woman so familiar with the business would need to come on the show. She explains that she feels the industry is only looking for younger women and wouldn’t even look for someone her age. This could very well all change. The judges were amazed by her voice! Marriage On a Monday?
Stormy from Oklahoma City calls in expressing his nerves about getting married today! Bobby first of all finds it strange that the wedding is on a Monday and questions if anyone is going to show up.
After hearing a little bit about Stormys story the question of “Do you believe in meant to be?” pops up. Amy feels like things can work out but doesn’t seem like she has a straight answer to the question, Nada says everything happens for a reason, and Lunchbox weighs in by saying he wants to believe he’s meant to win the lottery but that hasn’t happened, he also doesn’t think he believes in meant to be because he thought he was meant to be on the Real World and that hasn’t happened either. Hey Lunch don’t give up on the dream!

Bobby then says he’s actually cool with Miley, she may not be making the best decisions right not but he would still choose her over Kim Kardashian who he says has no talent.

Tim decided to go with Bobby who guessed 1996, Amy guesses 1992, and Lunchbox goes with 1994. Lunchbox actually had the correct answer so unfortunately Tim didn’t get the prize.
Ray’s Gonna be on Nashville!
Bobby announced on the show that the hit ABC Series “Nashville” was in need of an extra so what other person would Bobby refer other than Ray. Although, Lunchbox seemed to be a little disappointed that he wasn’t the one Bobby referred.
Tyler Farr Leaves Bobby a Voicemail
Bobby got a call on his cellphone and he didn’t answer and when he checked the voicemail he found out that it was in fact Tyler Farr. He says that Lunchbox has something coming from him and that he’s got a little taste of redneck crazy coming our way. I guess we will find out soon!
Lunchbox’s Football Trivia!
No woman has ever beaten him. But Brianna from Texas sounded readier than ever! The trivia was 7 questions today and Brianna really gave Lunchbox a run for his money. She started strong but then fell short. Lunch got her with the facts.
Laura Bell Bundy Stops By
Laura Bell Bundy came in to the studio just to hang out today! She even participated in our 90’s Trivia Game.
90’s Trivia TV Show Game
Jessica from Florida called in today to participate with everybody on the 90’s Trivia TV Show game. The game consisted of 7 questions. Overall the questions had caller Jessica stumped and in the end Bobby took the game.
Ray Shows Off His “Chicago” Knowledge
So Ray’s parents are in town but won’t come to Nashville because they’re from a small town and his dad apparently doesn’t know how to change lanes in traffic. So with that being said they’re staying two hours out. And come to find out Ray and his family are going to see Ray’s favorite band “Chicago” So Bobby wanted to test Ray on his knowledge of one of their greatest hits. Ray succeeded and belted along to all the words to “Look Away”.
The Story of Random Kid Cody
Intern Random Kid Cody got to be on air today to help Bobby tell his story of coming all the way from Amarillo, Texas and how he ended up on the being an Intern on the show while living with a 55 year-old woman. Be sure and hear the full story on our podcast!
Tell Me Something Good
A Nurse in England went to visit a patient and tied her up and when she returned her bike had been stolen. She left a note on the lamppost saying to please return the bike. And when she went back to the same place whoever stole the bike returned it with a note apologizing!
A 14-month-old named Oscar has just taken first step with prosthetic leg that was made for him and they even taught him how to walk.
A librarian who lived her life very frugally had apparently been secretly saving up a ton of money and then gave a million dollars back to the library she worked for in her will.
