DID SIMON COWELL OFFER BEYONCE $500 MILLION TO DO X-FACTOR?  / BEYONCE HAS SIX NANNIES FOR BLUE IVY?

Rumor has it that Simon Cowell wants Beyonce to be a judge on X-Factor -- in fact he wants her so bad, he has allegedly offered her $500 million to do it. According to Mediatakeout.com, an insider said that Simon desperately wants to revive the show and thinks that adding the superstar would do it. The insider said, "He wants a big name female star on the panel. Mariah [Carey] is good, but she's not that hot today. He wants Beyonce because that would immediately give him the bounce needed to beat American Idol." The source said that Simon offered Bey $500 million or $100 million per year for five seasons. A source in Beyonce's camp would not reveal whether or not if Beyonce is interested, but told the site to expect for the superstar to announce a major career move in the next month.   According to E! News, this story is false. The site said that Simon may be trying to get Beyonce as a judge, but it is not likely that he would be willing to pay $500 million to get the superstar.

In other news, reports say that Beyonce has hired six nannies for her new baby Blue Ivy. According to In Touch, the superstar has two nannies on call 24-7 -- each day... which makes for a total of six nannies. A source said, "Beyonce wanted to make sure that her daughter has the best of care . . . her diaper is changed almost every hour."

    * The source also revealed a gift that Jay-Z brought for their baby girl. The source said, "Jay Z bought [Blue] diamond earrings and a platinum baby bracelet . . . even her bottle has pink sapphires on it."

'AMERICAN IDOL' RATINGS DROP

American Idol's ratings are continuing to decline. This past Wednesday's show drew 18.2 million viewers, which is down nine percent from the previous week. However, it was still the night's top-rated show.

LINDSAY LOHAN THREATENS TO SUE OVER 'WASTED' REPORTS

Lindsay Lohan is on a rumor-denying rampage. The starlet is slamming reports that she was wasted last weekend at a SAG Awards after party and says she is not dating Dennis Hopper's son Henry. TMZ.com reported that Lindsay is threatening to sue the tabloids who published the story about her having been intoxicated on the grounds that the false stories are sabotaging her effort to save her career. She claims she only drank water at the party in question.

    * Meanwhile the romance rumors involving Henry started after the two were spotted at a gas station together. Although sources say they made out, Lindsay claims they are just friends and didn't kiss.

KATY PERRY COPING BY GOING TO THERAPY

Katy Perry is seeking professional help for her divorce from Russell Brand. According to HollywoodLife.com, Katy has always gone to a therapist and now more than ever the singer is using professional help. A source said, "Katy has always believed in therapy. She has always been pretty good about going to a therapist and she's still going now. When she's on tour she does phone sessions and is also leaning on her friends, like Rihanna."

    * Katy and Russell filed for divorce on December 30.
    * Katy is expected to perform at the Grammys on February 12.

ASHTON AND BRUCE VISIT DEMI

Demi Moore's exes are reaching out in her time of need. EOnline.com reported that both Bruce Willis and Ashton Kutcher visited the star's Los Angeles home on Wednesday. Ashton was in Brazil when news of Demi's hospitalization broke, and he stayed there for several days afterwards. He hasn't publically commented on the situation since his return, but E! reported that he's attended Kabbalah services and returned to the set of Two and a Half Men this week.

JENNIFER LAWRENCE COLLECTING ON BACK END OF 'HUNGER GAMES'

Jennifer Lawrence is really hoping that The Hunger Games does well at the box office -- not just for her career, but her bank account. The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Lawrence accepted a relatively modest $500,000 salary for her starring role in the film -- but will make additional profits based on the movie's performance. The movie, adapted from the wildly popular book, is due to hit theaters on March 23rd.

JWOWW AND SNOOKI HEADED TO PA?

Pennsylvania is looking to capitalize on Snooki and JWoww's recent rejection. After the mayor of Hoboken refused MTV's request to film the reality stars' spinoff in the city, a small town in north-central Pennsylvania offered to host the girls -- a town called Jersey Shore. There's no word in MTV is considering the proposal, but the offer is out.

NICK AND AARON CARTER REACT TO THEIR SISTER'S DEATH; POLICE REPORT / POLICE REPORT SAYS LESLIE DIED OF AN OVERDOSE

Two brothers are facing a tremendous loss -- and dealing with it in two different ways. After the announcement that Nick and Aaron Carter's sister, Leslie, died on Tuesday (January 31), both Carter brother's made statements. Nick is intending on continuing on his solo tour and dedicating the rest of his gigs to his sister. Aaron, who is currently playing Matt in the Fantastiks on Broadway -- is taking a leave of absence from the show.

    * Nick said, "Performing is cathartic to me and I am dedicating the rest of my tour to my sister since she loved to watch me perform."
    * Aaron said, "I am with my family spending much-needed time together as we deal with this private matter. Leslie Carter, 25, reportedly died of an overdose. Though the official cause of death is still pending a completion of toxicology reports -- police reports say that Leslie suffered from a drug overdose. According to Gossip Cop, police reportedly found at least three drugs, Olanzapine, Cyclobenzaprine and Xanax, near Carter when she died.

    * Leslie's stepmother had reportedly told police that Leslie suffered a long history of mental illness, including depression and was acting distressed the morning of her death.

JUSTIN BIEBER IS A SKATEBOARDER TOO

Justin Bieber has been hard at work on his next album, Believe. The album is scheduled to come out later this year. But on Wednesday (February 1), Justin took a break from working with Timbaland to hit the ramp with his good friend, Lil Wayne. BRITNEY IS NOT GOING TO THE GRAMMYS

Britney Spears will reportedly not be attending the Grammy Awards this year. Reportedly, she will attend Clive Davis and the Record Academy's pre-party. According to Perez Hilton, even though Britney is not nominated there was some hope that she would still attend.

LADY GAGA'S PARENTS' RESTAURANT REVIEWED

Lady Gaga's parents' restaurant, Joanne Trattoria, opened this week. There weren't supposed to be critics there, but Steve Cuozzo, a chief restaurant reviewer for the New York Post reportedly snuck in and didn't give Joe Germanotta's restaurant the best review. Cuozzo said the calamari tasted like rubber and the veal was fatty. He also commented that the restaurant was overpriced and the dining room was extremely loud.

KE$HA HONORED BY PETA

Ke$ha has been named the most animal-friendly pop star of 2011 by PETA. Marta Holmberg from peta2, PETA's youth division, said, "Ke$ha is quick to act when sleazy behavior - like cruelly killing chickens or slaughtering seals - hurts animals. peta2 is proud to have this animal on our team."

It was widely reported that the Hoff would be heading down the aisle after he posted two pictures: one of him on bended knee in front of Hayley and another with them embracing. However when reached for an official comment, Hasselhoff told People magazine, "The truth is I'm having a fantastic time with this lovely lady but at this time we have no plans to marry. But who knows?"

RANDY JACKSON OKAY IF MARIAH GOES TO 'X FACTOR'

Randy Jackson says that he'd be fine if Mariah Carey -- who he manages -- joins the rival Fox competition series X Factor. The American Idol judge commented on the Mariah speculation, saying, "I don't know if that's ever going to happen. Look, Simon's one of the smartest people I know. I'm sure he he's got some very interesting ideas up his sleeve." If it does become a reality, Randy has no problems with Carey going to the other show. He explained, "She's her own person. She can of course do whatever she wants and she always will do that."

ANTI-GAY GROUP WANTS ELLEN DEGENERES FIRED AS J.C. PENNEY SPOKESPERSON

The "conservative" group, One Million Moms -- a project of the American Family Association -- is protesting J.C. Penney's decision to hire Ellen DeGeneres as their spokesperson. The anti-gay group wrote on its website, "Funny that J.C. Penney thinks hiring an open homosexual spokesperson will help their business when most of their customers are traditional families. More sales will be lost than gained unless they replace their spokesperson quickly [and] their brand transformation will be unsuccessful." They are calling on the retailer to fire DeGeneres and "remain neutral in the culture war."

    * The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Discrimination (GLAAD) responded with a Stand Up For Ellen campaign. Their spokesperson said, "A vast majority of Americans today support Ellen as well as their LGBT friends and family members. Selecting an out performer who has inspired and entertained millions, is not only a smart business practice, but a reflection of how LGBT Americans today are an integral and valued part of the fabric of our culture."

ROSEANNE IS RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT                   

Roseanne has filed papers to seek the Green Party's nomination for president, reports TMZ, which says she'll be pushing hard to legalize marijuana. Barr says the run is no joke, and she's looking to capitalize on the Occupy Wall Street sentiment, notes AP. "The Democrats and Republicans have proven that they are servants—bought and paid for by the 1%—who are not doing what's in the best interest of the American people," she said in a statement. SNOOKI IS NOT PREGNANT  / SNOOKI BLASTS CHRIS CHRISTIE

Contrary to rumors, there won't be any mini-Snookis running around the Jersey Shore -- yet. A rep for the MTV star denied reports that the 24-year-old and her boyfriend Jionni LaValle are expecting a child. Star magazine claimed that Snooki recently started telling friends and family that she was pregnant. The magazine pointed to a recent tweet as further proof of the pregnancy because she wrote, "I feel sick," followed by, "Late night craving. . . yogurt hits the fricken spot!" However, her rep told E! that the rumors are false. If anyone heard Snooki teasing about a "big announcement," E! seems to think it involves her upcoming spinoff reality show with pal JWoww.

Meanwhile, Snooki is getting political. After news broke that Hoboken rejected MTV's request to film her spinoff in the NJ city, the reality star raged against the state's governor on Twitter. Snooki blasted Chris Christie -- who previously said that Jersey Shore "perpetuates misconceptions about the state" -- saying she doesn't want him as her president.

    * Even though Christie repeatedly said he's not seeking office, Snooki wrote, "I will not be voting for Chris Christie. Love always, the 'buffoons' from that degrading Jersey Shore show. I DEF don't want a judgmental president who has NEVER met me in person. F that."

LESLIE CARTER DEAD AT 25 / NICK AND AARON RESPOND

Leslie Carter, the sister of Nick and Aaron Carter, died on Tuesday (January 31st) at the age of 25. An autopsy completed on Wednesday showed no visible signs of trauma, but they are waiting on the results of a toxicology report to determine the cause of death. According to TMZ, the family thinks that Leslie might have died from an overdose of prescription medication. She was reportedly battling an addiction, and although she seemed to be on the road to recovery, it's suspected pills are behind her sudden death. Leslie was married in 2008 and leaves behind her husband Mike, and their 10-month-old daughter named Alyssa.  Leslie, also a singer, appeared on the family's 2006 reality show, House of Carters. Her single, "Like Wow" was featured on the soundtrack for Shrek in 2001.

Aaron Carter, who is currently starring in the off-Broadway production of The Fantasticks, is taking a temporary leave from the show in the wake of Leslie's death. A spokesperson for the production told E!, "Aaron is taking a few days off from the show. His Fantasticks family loves him and offers him support and prayers during this difficult time. Aaron's understudy and friend, Matt Leisy, will be covering Aaron's role until his return. We thank everyone for the outpouring of concern for Aaron." Nick, however, is continuing on with his professional duties. His publicist said, "Nick Carter is thankful to the many people and the fans who have shared their wishes and prayers during this tragic time. We want to let the fans know the tour will go on as promised."

    * Nick himself added, "Performing is cathartic to me and I am dedicating the rest of my tour to my sister since she loved to watch me perform."

Although some reports about Demi Moore's current condition may be true, her friends are vehemently denying a story claiming that she's been "chasing after" 24-year-old Zac Efron. Us Weekly reported that Demi recently attended a party in order to see Efron. A source told the magazine, "She just showed up, and everyone was pretty freaked out. They thought it was weird she would hang out with people half her age. She calls him and texts him a lot, but he's not interested at all. He thinks she's a creepy cougar."  However, an insider told GossipCop.com that the story is "completely untrue," and even an Efron source denied the story.

People magazine reported that Demi's recent downward spiral was brought on by insecurity. A source told the publication, "As Demi got older, she convinced herself that she needed to stay young and skinny to remain attractive to her husband. She needed reassurance all the time that she was hot and sexy."

    * Another source said that Demi "was always fixated on being young. And the only thing that tied her to that, as she got older, was her marriage to a younger guy and hanging around young people."

MILEY CYRUS' NEW CAR / MILEY'S BROTHER STILL GETTING MARRIED

Miley Cyrus has got a new whip. The singer purchased a white Mercedes Benz 2012 SL550 convertible last week. Miley reportedly paid the $127,000 price tag in cash. According to TMZ, Miley didn't even turn in her old car -- her bodyguard drove it back to her house for her.

Miley might be talking about her new Mercedes but her brother, Trace is talking about marriage. Trace and fiance Brenda Song never confirmed that they were expecting however, Cyrus did confirm that the two did get engaged. He told thehollywoodgossip.com, that they have no immediate plans to get married.

'HOME IMPROVEMENT' ACTOR ARRESTED

Former child star Taran Noah Smith was arrested for DUI and possession of drugs. RadarOnline.com reported that 27-year-old Smith -- best known for his role on Home Improvement -- was pulled over in California early Wednesday on suspicion of driving drunk. While questioning him, police found hash in his possession and made the arrest.

FBI INVESTIGATING TAYLOR ARMSTRONG DEATH THREATS

The FBI is reportedly investigating death threats received by Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong on Twitter. RadarOnline.com reported that the user threatened to kill the widowed reality star and her five-year-old daughter. The perp also left Armstrong a message threatening to "kidnap" her during a book signing event in New Jersey next week. A source told the website, "Taylor will be consulting with security professionals and assess what changes she needs to increase. Her first concern when she got the threats was Kennedy, but her daughter is safe, and that is all that matters to Taylor. She will do whatever is necessary to protect herself and Kennedy. Taylor is assisting the FBI with the investigation and she wants the person responsible for the threats prosecuted."

MADONNA HAS NEVER TAKEN A DAY OFF

Pete Wentz and girlfriend Meagan Camper are reportedly putting on a united front lately because reportedly, Meagan suffered a miscarriage around December. According to Star, Meagan's grandmother said that Meagan struggled with the pregnancy and Pete was little help. She said, "He abandoned her right off the bat... He wasn't very much help, that's for sure."

LINDSAY LOHAN HOOKS UP WITH HENRY HOPPER                   

Lindsay Lohan moved out of her Venice apartment this week, and was spotted Tuesday with the late Dennis Hopper's 21-year-old son, Henry. According to reports, Lindsay and Henry stepped out in Venice to grab some beverages at a local liquor store. The couple reportedly shared a few kisses inside the store, with an employee revealing: "They were all touchy-feely and they kissed on the lips a couple of times. Just quick little love pecks but they were definitely together." Now that she's out of her apartment, Lindsay plans to temporarily live at Hollywood's legendary Chateau Marmont. It is believed she decided to move after a trespasser was arrested at her home on New Year's Day, as well as continuing problems with other stalkers. The man was sentenced to 24 months of probation, 8 days in jail, and was ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from Lohan and her place of residence. Lindsay is said to be considering a move to NYC after completing her probation in March.

KATY PERRY IN 3-D

If you missed Katy Perry in concert -- now you may have another chance to see her in 3D. Katy is reportedly in talks for her own 3D concert movie. According to Gossip Cop, Katy is in negotiations with Paramount and Imagine Entertainment. There is no word on what concerts would possibly be used for the film. Meanwhile, Katy will be performing at the Grammys on February 12. Katy is up for Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance. This will be her first performance post split with husband, Russell Brand.

Despite her upbeat statement, sources say that Paula Abdul is "not okay" with having been fired from X Factor. A source told RadarOnline.com, "Paula loved doing the show and was blindsided by the news. Everyone is afraid this is going to send her into a deep depression and cause her to revisit some of her old destructive behavior. She loved doing the show and never thought Simon would let her go . . . again . . . this makes twice that he's booted her from the judging chair -- once on Idol and now X Factor -- and she says she doesn't know if she can trust him again even if he does come up with another project for her."

BET BANS NICKI'S 'STUPID H*E'

In other news, according to TMZ.com, BET has banned Nicki Minaj's new video for her single "Stupid Hoe." A rep from BET would not specify exactly why the network pulled the video, but said that they will not be broadcasting it.

TAYLOR SWIFT NOT IN LES MISERABLES

Taylor Swift will not be playing Eponine in the upcoming film adaptation of Les Miserables. Taylor was reportedly in talks for the part but according to Us Weekly, the part will go to Samantha Banks -- a musical theatre veteran who played Eponine in the 25th anniversary concert for the show.

    * Reportedly, Lea Michele, Scarlett Johansson and Evan Rachel Wood were also in contention for the role.

IS JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE TRYING TO WIN AN OSCAR?

Is Justin Timberlake gunning for an Oscar? There is already Oscar buzz surrounding the new project that Justin has just signed on to. According to Deadline, Justin has landed the starring role in Trouble With The Curve alongside Clint Eastwood and Amy Adams.

    * Clint will play a veteran scout and Timberlake will be a rival scout who like Clint's daughter, played by Amy.
    * The film will reportedly be released in September.
    * This will be Clint Eastwood's first onscreen role since Gran Torino.

NEW DETAILS ON AMY WINEHOUSE'S AUTOPSY

According to NME, the person who performed the autopsy on Amy Winehouse was not qualified by law. Inner North London Coroner Dr. Andrew Scott Reid reportedly appointed his wife, Suzanne Greenaway to the role of Assistant Deputy Coroner. However, Greenaway resigned in November after it was declared that she did not match government requirements. Along with Amy's autopsy, over 30 other investigations may be deemed illegal if the High Court decides so.

KEVIN FEDERLINE WANTS TO DO SITCOMS

Kevin Federline has appeared on his share of reality shows and now he wants to take his acting skills to script comedies. According to a conversation with fans, Kevin would love to stay on television. He said, "Hopefully I can be really healthy and get back into some scripted TV work... acting work. I would love to do comedy, sitcoms."

KELLY BENSIMON DATING MADONNA'S BABY DADDY?


One of the former Real Housewives is reportedly dating Madonna's baby daddy. Sources told E! that Kelly Bensimon -- who was recently fired from the New York cast -- is dating Carlos Leon, the father of Madonna's daughter Lourdes. A source told E!, "They started out working on a project together, but have since gotten very close...we all know that they are together." However a rep for Bensimon said the two are just friends.

SARAH PALIN SOURCE: JULIANNE MOORE'S ACCENT IS 'TERRIBLE'

While Julianne Moore is getting rave reviews for her physical imitation of Sarah Palin in HBO's Game Change -- the same can't be said for her accent. While Palin hasn't released an official comment on the TV movie, sources close to the former governor told E!, "Julianne Moore's accent is terrible.
