Special K did not start his career as an entertainer in radio. He started live, in front of an audience as a professional dancer.
Special K took his dancing career to a professional level by appearing in commercials, music videos, and performing with some of the top hip-hop companies in the world. In 2004, Special K moved into reality TV and became one of the top 25 guys on the FOX hit show “SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE”. After getting back from LA, he won grand champion of “SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CHICAGO”.
Special K decided he was going to use his personality and abilities to their fullest potential. He became an Emcee for one of the top Mobile Entertainment companies in the nation, "CHARIZMA". There, Special K has done thousands of successful events, and was named one of the TOP Entertainers in the nation by DJ TIMES MAGAZINE twice!
The Mobile Dj industry naturally lead Special K into the night club scene, he became one of the busiest promoters, DJ’s, and Hosts in the city of Chicago. Special K has spun and hosted some of the city’s biggest events in the city’s biggest Night clubs!
Through all of this, Special K was going to Columbia College Chicago for radio broadcasting. After Graduating from Columbia College Chicago, he began working for Clear Channel Chicago’s Total Traffic Network. He started driving a bright pink sponsored VW Beetle! HA!
From there, he has done pretty much everything there is to do at a Radio Station including: Traffic Reporter/Producer, Promotions Assistant, Sales, Board Operator, Night Show Stunt Man, Night show producer, Afternoon Drive Producer, Morning Show Producer, Commercial Production, On-Air Host on WKSC 103.5 KISS FM, and now 96.7 KISS FM!

Special K has been described as one on the hardest working people in the industry, who is dedicated to connecting with people and being INVOLVED!

Twelve years ago, a British guy began running marathons as a way to cope with the grief over his wife's death. He was 89 at the time, and he's run eight marathons since then. And since he's a Sikh, his nickname is the "turbaned tornado." Now he's 101 . . . and will run the Hong Kong Marathon this weekend, just five weeks before his 102nd birthday. He says it will be his last marathon.
